She holds a Master 2 degree in International Public Law Julia Thibord initially practiced in international courts; she also taught various courses in Public Law at University.
She passed the bar in 2009 and joined, as associate, the Public and Environmental Law practice of Allen & Overy, in Paris and London she advised corporations and public entities on a wide range of public law and environmental law issues (environmental liabilities, contaminated land, public procurement, TV & radio regulation, local government in particular). She also represented clients in various litigations (administrative courts, rulings on constitutionality, dispute settlement procedures) Prior to joining Vigo, Julia Thibord worked, since 2015, as in-house counsel for Citeo, the EPR (extended producer responsibility) body for household packaging and paper waste.
