ll its practice areas, and for the sake of clarity, VIGO sets the procedures for billing its fees in consultation with the client, from the outset of their relationship, based on two essential principles: flexibility and transparency.
Depending on the client’s needs, their familiarity with legal services and the nature of the case, we determine with the client the most appropriate billing system :
- billing on a time-spent basis,
- flat fee,
- contingent fee.
The hourly rate for partners is based on their professional experience and reputation and, for associates, it is based on the number of years of professional experience as a lawyer.
In all cases, VIGO is able to provide its clients, at all times, with detailed and up-to-date information on the amount of fees billed and still to be billed in connection with ongoing matters.
The costs of legal acts (bailiffs, local counsel) are covered directly by clients.s.
